From scratch to finish: Human Made

THE REASON

As you might know, I created this page because my own childhood was stolen from me due to screens. Wouldn't it be a bit ironic if I used the very same machines to create stories and games to get away from them?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not preaching against sreens or being anti-technology. There's great use in new AI programs. I've used them to improve techical aspects, like SEO, teaching me marketing strategies or help me keep organized with all my tasks. But I fundamentally believe there's a difference between using technology to improve your life and using it as a replacement from real life. Real creativity. Real human connection.

 

AM I ANTI SCREENS?

In regards to children, there's some benefit in controlled supervised screen time. Specially when it's to introduce them to internet literacy. Or when it comes to asking the right questions, such as:

• Who made this? What's their purpose?
• Do I really need it or someone just made want this?
• How did I feel before consuming content? How do I feel after?

Safe internet use is crucial. And there's no denying that internet and AI technology is here to stay, so they need to know how to use it. But it's my firm belief that it will never replace the wonders of real life connection, exploring with the five senses and managing real life social situations, where you can't take hours to answer a message. They need to react in the present. And they might make mistakes, or feel different feelings. And that's ok. More than ok, I'd argue that's healthy.

 

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE 100% HUMAN MADE

Just like it sounds. Everything creative is 100% made by me or my contractors. What does this include?

• World Building
• Character design (Sketching, itterations, coloring, adjustments, personality, backstory, etc)
• Illustrated elements: objects, magical books, magic systems & types, clothing, staffs, etc.
• Story Building (as mentioned, all games follow an auto conclusive but coherent storyline tied back to the wider world of "Beyond These Walls")
• GAMES: Scripting, drafting, illustrating, formatting, editing, story building, graphic elements, packaging and more.
• Multiple original languages
• All stages of standalone illustrations, comics, doodles and more

 

WHAT MEDIA I USE TO CREATE?

Traditional art: Soft Pastels, Watercolor, Ink (both pen and chinese ink with quill), coloring pencils, graphite pencils % powder, coutout paper, coffee, origami, leaves.

Digital art: Photoshop, Procreate, Affiny *

• From these programs I haven't used any of their built in AI features.
